The Pharmacy, restaurant in Hanoi

In the streets of Hanoi there are always a thousand things to discover. You have to walk around, look for, not look for and find around a building, at the end of a street, in one of the many shops. If you are looking for a quality banh my or a local bun thiet, I recommend this little neighborhood restaurant. Both are excellent. It is a peaceful and relaxing place where I like to hang out. It is almost unknown and has around 6 to 8 outdoor spaces.

All around the lake there are multiple cafes. my favorite is most certainly Cà Phê Ven Hồ Tây,
located on a small peninsula, here you can drink Vietnamese coffee, drink lemon juice while contemplating this immensity.
Around you, a few people practice gimnastics in silence.
There are multiple cafes around West Lake, for most of them the atmosphere is conducive to reflection and entertaining.

Vietnam Visa
I am Thomas Vaughan (but call me Tom :-)) a French photographer, graphic designer and novelist living in Hanoi for a few years and outside France for many years. Two years ago I was skype with a new partner here. The connection was bad, I offered to come and spend 3 days here so that we could prepare a presentation that we were working on at the time. I arrived in Hanoi, then they asked me to stay one more week, then one more week, then … I quickly became a Hanoi lover and I decided to share with you this passion and my love for Vietnam by sharing my experiences with you here. Life is so sweet here and often reminds me of my childhood in Paris up the Faubourg Saint Denis. Life is on the street, people talk, people talk to each other. I have lived in a few different countries and different cultures, but rarely have I felt as much at home as here in Hanoi, never have I ever been so well received and integrated. I hope this blog will help you discover this city that has become mine quickly, this country and its people so endearing.
